Mike Mussina(4-4) pitched a fine game. He was reached for 11 hits and no walks in 8 and 2/3 innings. SSB made it exciting in the 9th, but they were unable to push the needed runs across. Steve Kline earned his 5th save. Tim Hudson(1-3) was the losing pitcher. By surrending 5 runs in 2 innings his ERA jumped from 4.53 to 5.23. 'I didn't have my best stuff but sometimes you just get lucky,' Mussina said, 'this was one of those times.'
